Lord, God, We of St. john & St. Lewis parish want to offer you the most perfect praise, today and for many years to come. Guide our efforts towards a new worship space, modest yet reverend and beautiful. In your mercy make our lives worthy of the new St. John & St. Lewis church, so that both building and hearts may give glory to your name. St. John & St. Lewis pray for us.

Synod Prayer

God our Father, you have called us to build Church together here in Dominica the land of the Lord. As we embark on our Diocesan Synod, as disciples on a Mission, be with us in the power of your spirit. Open our ears to hear your word; our eyes to see the needs of your people. Help us to cast off prejudice and accept everyone as gifted and called.

Help us to face bravely the challenges of your Church. Keep us united in constant prayer and in common purpose with Mary our Mother, so that, together, we may be a vibrant Church; living signs of your presence in this land. We make our prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.
